Ellipse Pulsed Light Hair Reduction

Ellipse I2PL treatment is a gentle relatively painless process, which uses light that is absorbed by the pigmented hair and converted to heat. The hair then transmits this heat into the hair follicle, which is then destroyed and rendered unable to produce new hair. Treatment is most effective on darker hair as it contains more pigment.

Ellipse Pulsed Light Thread Vein Reduction

Blood in the thread veins contains haemoglobin that absorbs the light and converts it to heat. This heat then destroys the protein in the wall of the thread vein and will gradually disappear after the treatment. Most common areas to treat are the face & décolletage.

Ellipse Pulsed Light Acne Treatment

Acne itself is an infection caused by the skins bacteria that feeds on the break down of over produced oil in the skin. When Ellipse I2PL is performed the light causes a minor injury to the sebaceous glands and slows down the over production of oil that leads to acne. Ellipse treatment combined with prescription medication (adapalene) has been clinically proven to accelerate the healing process for acne. For optimal results at least 4 treatments are needed, maintenance treatments are also recommended to maintain the skin if the bacteria begin to multiply.
